Susan, I'm glad you was able to escape long enough from the dish Nazi again to show us pictures. You got some great deals on the glasses, salt and pepper shakers and I love the placemats and table runner. The stemware and s & P shakers are pretty cute also. One of your links allowed me to look at your album and you have some beautiful tablescapes. Your a very creative lady. Punk

Is it only me, but I cannot see the pictures - only the URLs.

I just copied and pasted the urls into the address bar and was able to see everything plus the album. Really cute items!

"on the hood of the car...in the rain" Ok, this is one of the funniest things I've read here! TV writers are missing out on a GREAT sitcom involving Dish Police and their desperate shop-aholic wives who go to any lengths to sneak in and hide more stuff. C'mon, is that not a HIT show in the making? LOL. hugs, Karen |

Karen, I think you are totally correct, thinking like that. So funny what goes on here. I think we are all quilty of that crime. This is the grown up version for "Hide and Seek", don't you think? Punk

I do have one tip -- We moved into this house after being at the old one for 32 years. I did a pretty good job of getting some of the dishes packed up; kind of a reverse where-in-the-world-am-I-going-to-put-this, without DH knowing what was in the boxes. In hindsight, I should have marked the boxes as my "unmentionables". No one wants to unpack someone else's undies. Wellll, DH and my nephew who moved us, got into the boxes and started unpacking. It was not a good thing. (-; I could hear them talking. "What does she DO with all these dishes?" "Don't tell me there are more in that box." "Does she have a special dish for every single day of the year?" "She has enough dishes to feed a regiment!" Poor guys were truly puzzled. I thought I might faint -- there was no way I could get them to stop. They wanted to help. I really thought DH might faint along with me -- he had no idea where they all came from. They still talk about "Lee's dishes"! Lee

I am just so pleased and impressed that Susan would go to such extreme measures so she could share her finds with us! That's a sign of a really dedicated forum member! Neither wind nor rain nor----, right? Thank you Susan! Lee, you had me cracking up over the conversations the guys had while unpacking your "treasures". Not so good when our DH's see them all at one time is it????? LOL Susan, I posted about over on your other post, so won't repeat it here, okay? Luvs
