Covered Acorn Bowls

For all you acorn lovers out there (I didn't used to be, but I've gotten caught up in the recent acorn craze with all the acorn postings!), there are very nice covered acorn bowls at Williams-Sonoma. Now, the trick is to wait until after Thanksgiving, as they are pricey. We don't have an outlet here, so I can't get them that way, but I figure I'll just go back and visit them about once a week and see if they aren't marked down in December.

They're actually better looking than the picture shows, I think.

Those are really nice, OA. I am resisting the acorns, but I do think all the dishes are pretty.

Thanks OA
I've been watching those. They are pretty, but I agree...I'd rather wait on the price.
The 'Acorn Bug' seems to have hit hard here!
I feel I'm coming down with it too...lol

I'm coming down with it too. Gives new meaning to "computer virus" doesn't it? LOL
Those bowls are wonderful, Lee. We don't have that store here either. But perhaps some others will have these too.
I was coveting the little covered turkey one on the CTS ad, and now I'll have to add these to my wish list. Soon as things settle down here (with my Dad needing so much care), I'll try to hit TJ Maxx and Marshalls and see what they have.
Luvs, I am going to blame you for the Acorn virus, LOL. At least for mine.

hugs, Karen

Be still my heart! Those are gorgeous, but way too pricey for me. Didn't Kathleen find some at CTS? I think I remember seeing them in one of her posts. If they have them, you just know we will be seeing them at Marshal's, Homegoods, CTS, etc. Karen, I guess I can shoulder the blame for everyone really noticing acorn items--but I got hooked on them from a post Tam did last year, so it's really her fault! (How's that for shuffling the blame on to someone else???) LOL

Thank goodness, they are out of my price range. Otherwise I would be spending the bucks!

Gosh, those are nice! I still like Jane's gorgeous covered pumpkin bowls more, though.
BTW, did you notice on William-Sonoma's site, that they're already sold out of their new turkey dishes and platters? It's a nice pattern, too :~(

They are beautiful! I will keep my eyes open for them, but they prob won't make it to the outlet.

I've got the acorn bug too. Love those bowls, but don't love the price!

Thanks for the link OA as I had never realized WS now has stores in Canada. I've bookmarked them for both Calgary and Vancouver so next time we go to either place a visit to WS will be on my list. Their prices are pretty high but they do have some cute things on sale! ;-) The sale page is the first place cheap ol' me looks. LOL

Good luck on the cute acorn stuff. I'm resisting as I have no idea where I'd put them.
