Tammy...such an lovely table. All the colors are so warm and inviting. Very unusal candle holders. Are they real artichokes? I also like your flatware...very different and very nice looking. I guess you noticied that we all have 'Acorn Fever' here...and your Acorn S&Ps and Mugs caught my eye immediately! Very nice. That tureen makes a perfect centerpiece and statement for your table. Everything is done beautifully. TFS jane |

Slinky, thanks for your kind words! Yes, the artichokes are real. A while back I bought a little kit that lets you turn fruit and veggies into candle holders. This is the first time I've tried them.

Looks like our "computer virus" of loving acorns is spreading! LOL Very nice table Tammy, and your acorn mugs look really nice, are they a recent purchase? Your pumpkin plates are perfect for a fall table--and I really like the pictures with the candles all lit. Now I have to ask--is the house in your blog header your home? Or just an Inspriation picture? Luvs

Luvs, I bought the acorn mugs about 3-4 weeks ago at Family Dollar. The picture in my header is a house that someone actually posted on the decorating forum of GW years ago, as being a French-style house they liked. I saved it as an inspiration picture for...maybe someday.

Tammy, I really enjoyed seeing all your pictures and just posted and it disappeared. Not fun when that happens so I'll start overm but it won't be as long. First of all the crocheted table cloth is great. Did you make it? I also love the pictures in candle light. Thanks so much for sharing and I agree with Jane and Luvs posts. I enjoyed your decorated buffet(?) with mirror. The stacked books looked great with all the beutiful decorations. Nice change. Punk

Tammy, I too wondered about that house in the header. Its definitely a 'dream' home in my book. I sigh just looking at it. Not much I can add about your table that the others haven't already said. I especially like those mugs you found. We don't have Family Dollar here, but looks like a good place to shop. hugs, Karen

Tammy, I really like all you have done with your table. All the fall accents work together very well. Love the cups with the backs decorated too. Lee

Thanks, everyone, for the kind words. Phonegirl, no, I didn't make the crocheted topper. I've always wished I could crochet or knit, though. Believe it or not, it's an inexpensive topper from Wal-mart.
