| Okay...I've got a few more to show (can you stand it?)..
This is just a little vignette (see Karen no tablecloth)..
using the same pumpkin bowls, a plain salad plate and, using the Friendly Village dinner plates... Threw some faux fruit in an old wooden basket, and of all things, added
A Birdhouse!
lol
.
The salad plates came from Big Lots, when I was in FL last year, for $.50 each.
I got these napkins at the Ultimate Yard Sale 8/$3.
They go pretty good with The Friendly Village.
This is a 'Fun One'...It was done before I had the black hutch in place.
Can you tell which one is me??? DH can...lol
The rimmed soup bowls - online from Pfalzgraff clearance
$11 for 4.. I bought 12 for last Thanksgiving with free shiping! The little pumpkins are from CTS $1.69 ea
Still 'Yapping' !!
Well... If you haven't passed out by now...
I've have a couple of tablescapes that I'll post
tomorrow. That's if I see there's no 'Tomatoes' thrown my way ...

I love your displays! Especially the one with the ducks. They are adorable, and I especially like how you did the pumpkin bowl with them. That's great! You make it all seem so easy! And I'm sure it is, with a smidgen of imagination, which is what I am most lacking. (Besides napkins and tablecloths. LOL.) The first few photos, I was thinking "hey, I can do that" then I got to the ducks and the pumpkin bowl and went "WHOA...never would have come up with that one". LOL. hugs, Karen |

Pretty, pretty, pretty, Jane! Loved your cornucopia from the last thread, BTW. And now your Autumn candle centerpiece on the pedestal and your arrangement in the tin bucket, too! The ducks are fun and unexpected pieces to add . . . and they're so cute for a fun meal. I'm loving your beautiful, lidded pumpkin bowls. They really add so much to every Autumn tablescape you use them with! Lynn |

| I love both of your fall vignette posts. The duck yapping is so cute! My hubby had a hutch that he had to redo for me and I can imagine I looked just like that until he was done. I haven't been around Gardenweb much lately. Now I mostly blog. I've got some fall vignettes on my blog (even did Judith's infamous stacked plates). I'll post the link in case anyone would like to have a peak. |

| Forgot to add that I SO wish I had a Christmas Tree Store nearby. You ladies find some great bargains there. |

| I think she's "chatting" not "yapping" LOL - but they are very cute anyhow! I'm getting so inspired I think I'll have to pour another cup of tea and take a deep breath or I'll be pulling out dishes! I'm very envious (in a good way) of all the bargains you ladies find. I'll be looking for different things now when I'm in the city. I really like the pedestal candle arrangement and the tin works well also IMO. Makes me see my stuff in a different way, I'd have never thot to use some of my similar things on the table. Altho I think I can see some ironing in my future. I have some cloth napkins but seldom use them as I do not like ironing. Keep the pics coming, it's all great! |

| Luckygal, don't have that cup of tea and take a deep breath--go pull out those dishes and start playing--we'd love to see all your pretties too! ;o) Tammy, I'll come by your blog soon. Don't let that keep you away from sharing and chatting with us here too. You can do both--you can either post some of your pictures here or post a note telling us to come see something you just posted that we might like--that's what Kathleen and Dining Delight do for us. Jane, I like your pedestal candle too, that floral ring around it makes it look really special. My eyes zeroed right in on your "acorn" napkin ring--did you make that? Isn't it funny how our DH's think we are always "talking"? I told mine it's because he doesn't "listen" and I have to repeat myself so much! LOL Loving all your pics--keep em comin! Luvs |

How lovely! The ducks make such a wonderful light edge to everything. Two old friends chatting over dinner. Judy |

| Another really pretty one, Jane. I love the whole look. No tomatoes from this corner, bring them on. - Gail |

| Jane, these are so pretty! Your (?)amber stems in the first picture look wonderful with your plates and pumpkins. The acorns are such a nice accent. I love the hurricane in the last setting. I can't imagine what your DH meant. lol Oh, and the napkin rings are such a special touch. Lee |

| luvstocraft, Photobucket is such a pain that that is one reason I rarely post on Gardenweb anymore. I do miss hanging around here, though. |

| Tammy, thanks for the link to your blog. Please drop in here more often if you can. Hey, maybe Photobucket has improved, I've sure loved it and no problems at all with the albums I do on there or pictures I post from them. LG...now I know why I don't have cloth napkins, or want them. "I have some cloth napkins but seldom use them as I do not like ironing". LOL, ironing I don't do! Things better come out of the dryer looking good around here. hugs, Karen |

| Thanks again everyone...Glad to keep them going if you don't mind them... (my therapy) Karen...Come On... YOU definitely can do it. I've only used a few pieces here and there (shop in your cabinets) like Lynn says..and you'll be surprised at what you'll find. See I said NO tablecloth. So no excuse there..Just grab a DH hanky (tea dye it)...lol and you've got a different look! LOLOL Lynn, glad you like those pumpkin bowls...I'm so sorry I couldn't get more..they only had two left! I have more fun with those little ducks...so many things to do with them. Tammy, I agree with Luvs..please come whenever you can, to chat and share with us. I'll be visiting your blog soon to check it out. I'm wishing a CTS for everyone soon. They are multplying pretty fast, even with this economy. Luvs...too funny..you're getting 'Acorn On The Brain' LOL Yes, I did make that ring..it's just a simple sprig on a twine w/acorns. Surprised you noticed!! lol joobee..you're Exactly Right!! I like to think that too..2 Old Friends Chatting...I'll have to tell DH that.. Gail...thanks for the encouragement w/no tomatoes! lol Lee... If I were whispering to a friend..DH would stop and ask 'what are you talking about'...If I were Talking directly to him...He'd miss it all. I guess like Luv's DH...they're all alike! jane |
They're all alike
| | |
| I guess like Luv's DH...they're all alike! My best friend always said "If you put all the men in a sack, and shook it up, it wouldn't matter which one you took out, because they are all alike." Lee But I will just keep the one I have. The one whose hearing goes from "I didn't hear you" to Superman quality -- only -- when I want to say something privately... like maybe about dishes. (-; |

Lee... I like your best friend's thinking...And, I can definitely relate to your last line.. jane |

| Jane, Your so amazing and it's all beautiful. I love your Friendly Village dinner plates. Is your ducks (geese)LOL I think the chatty one reminds me of you and I wouldn't want it any other way. Keep displaying and everyone who comes here will try to have beautiful tables. It will be fun to see what Karen comes up with using her new plates. Punk |
