I posted this over on the Garden Junk forum, where I usually post my craft projects, but this fits a Holiday forum, don't you think. I made is out of an old bottle and copper wire, I'm getting ready for a craft show that's coming up soon.

That's just adorable, Syble! I love angels, garden junk, and T2T and I think that fits all those categories. It's a real treasure. I can see a few of those on my Christmas mantel. I'll have to see if I have any nice bottles in my totem stash. Thanks for the inspiration.

Oh, I like it! It's so cool! You should be able to sell lots of these.

RE: Angel

She is wonderful. You found a perfect shaped bottle for this Angel. This will be a hit at the craft show for sure with Christmas approaching.

Beautiful angel. What made you come up with something like this? How clever and I hope you have alot of sales on these cute creations.

Darling! What a clever idea.

RE: Angel

Thanks everyone. Gail, if you can't find a bottle, another idea I'm working on is to use a bud vase, the small cheap ones from the TS that looked like pressed glass, either clear or milk glass. The shape is good for angels and I'll most likely use a small clear or white ornament for the head. I used a marble for this one because it was small. I'll post a pic when I finish one. Punk, I was working on bottle bugs for the craft show and that little bottle just screamed "make me an angel".

Ah-ha...and she is now mine!!!!!! She is even more beautiful than the picture shows...she is hanging in my west dining room window and I can't wait to see her in the sunlight this afternoon. I will try to take a picture.
Syble you are a wonderful artist...Thanks again for sharing!

Syble,
I'm so glad that little bottle was able to scream "make me an angel". Have you had your show yet and if so how did it go. Just couldn't leave without finding this and asking. I would love to see your bottle bugs too if you have any made.

RE: Angel

Punk, thanks for asking. The show is the 5th of December, I have everything packed and ready to go. As you can read above Jaybird adopted the first angel and I have made another sale from the internet, so maybe I'll do allright. Here is a pic of some votive/bottle bugs.

RE: Angel

Syble,
Jay your so right on "Cute as a Bug". Your bugs are darling. With your angels and bugs your show should be a big hit. Thanks so much for sharing and please let us know how it goes. With the economy where it's at, who know what the shows will be like this year.
