Is your DH like mine in regards to your decorations?

| Sometimes I think this is good in case I spent too much money and feet guilty. :)
You've seen the skates picture, and I posted a picture of my new apothecary jar in the AJ thread.
Both items have been on display for several days. I have the skates in a prominent place, and I finally had to point them out to him. lol. He really likes them but never noticed they were there.
I liked the picture of my jar so I made it as my wallpaper on the computer for a Christmasy look. The jar is in the corner of the kitchen, the "prominent" deep corner that most kitchens have.
I showed him my picture on the computer, and he goes, "that's really pretty. Wait, is that in the kitchen?" He had just cooked himself breakfast and still didn't notice it! lol!!!

| LOL! YES, the BF is the same way. ;^) The really good news is: he says guys don't notice clutter or dirt either! lol! |

| Oak...that is exactly why I refer to my DH as "Mr Oblivious". LOL. I tell him the only way he'd SEE stuff is if I plopped it in the middle of the 18th green on a golf course. But its kind of nice he's this way, he has no idea if something is old or new. hugs, Karen |

As soon as DH walks in the door I have to lead him to the newest acquisition and show him, so he sort of has to compliment it! The greatest compliment is when company comes in and he shows them my table or vignette with a proud tone of voice. It gives me a warm feeling inside and lets me know that he notices. Of course, sometimes he just rolls his eyes when I go on and on about something that I've seen and want!! LOL Betty |

| My hubby would notice -- and that's not always a good thing. It's hard to sneak anything new in past him! LOL! |

| LOL Karen - that's exactly how I have to get my hubby's attention - only if it's on the golf course! We live in SE Wisconsin and it was so beautiful today that he did go out to play a round of golf while I am preparing for our Thanksgiving! |

Bliz...now my DH is retired, he plays 6 days a week. And on the remaining day he'll usually go practice a few hours. Of course this is our great time of year, your DH would love golf here! hugs, Karen |

| Enjoy it while you can, Oakley, mine used to be exactly like that--but then he retired. Now he has waaaay too much time on his hands and not only wants to go everywhere with me (I like to shop on my own so I'm not rushed) but he will even sit down and count things--like my bunnies, or my rose plates--then proceed to tell me how I have too many and don't need anymore! LOL Betty, I know exactly what you mean about the DH showing something I've made or done with that tone of pride. I've been lucky enough to have him do that through the years with my painted items. It sure feels good doesn't it? ;o) Luvs |
