| Oops, don't know what happened to my post. Trying again. I like the glasses and everything, but the red gift box shakers are so cute. I had to look up your original post to understand Jane's "extremes" comment. So funny... I can just see you out in the rain, stuff all over your hood, furtively taking pics and glancing over your shoulder. Good job! Lee |

Good for you figuring it out! I remember how frustrated I got trying to post my pics when I first joined GW. Those directions are not all that clear.

He just fails to understand the concept of 14 sets of dishes and all the other "stuff" I've been accumulating.. thanks to all the enablers on this forum ! Now I've got to figure out where to hide the "goodies" I got this morning from the TS after going to feed the horses .. rofl ! Susan |

| So glad you figured out how to post pics. I remember how pleased I was with myself when I finally learned how to. Now it's so easy I don't know why I couldn't see it! Love your latest purchases and look forward to seeing how you use them. I'm sure most men don't understand why anyone would "need" more than a plate and a fork, maybe a knife and spoon, and a mug. My DH enables me a bit cause he knows how happy I am when I get something new, but I know he thinks it's crazy. |

| Sorry, Kathleen, but I have to laugh at your comment "that's a lot of dishes!". I know you don't usually buy sets, but I imagine you could give anyone a run for their money re: number of dishes. (-: DH and I laugh about me wanting dishes. Poor guy is like most men and just doesn't get the attraction. I tell him, there are things I could buy that cost way more money, and give way less pleasure. Playing with dishes is a good way to spend time. I think luckygal is right about the plate, fork, knife, spoon and mug. Susan, we want to see what you found at the TS. Come on, girl, surely there is some place to put your treasures in the barn. Now get out there with the camera - so we can see! lol I don't have the opportunity to got to garage sales or thrift stores any more, but I really enjoy seeing the great finds y'all come up with. Lee I hope it is all right for me to say this -- I think we are all aware how fortunate and blessed we are to have something to *eat* on our dishes. I know I am. (I don't mean to sound too serious or mean anything bad.) I enjoy this forum so much. |

| Love those happy little salt/pepper shakers! Cute glasses too, and you will have fun doing a table with the runner and placemats. I hadn't seen the other post either when I first saw these pics and had wondered "are those raindrops?" LOL Love that you were able to get the pics to share with us--even under the "extreme" conditions. LOL Lee, of course it's okay to say that! It's always good for us to "count our blessings" and to realize that even though we may have "burdens", we also have so very much to be thankful for as well. I'll be waiting and watching for pics of the TS treasures soon, Susan. TFS Luvs |
