Why I have been MIA

Hello all! I sure have missed you all! It's been an exciting few months. At the first of June we decided it was time and, put our house on the market. We had found our dream/ last home and we were ready to get out of our 2- story and into ranch. In between showings, we packed up as much of the house as we could and put it into storage. Wrapping and boxing up my dishes and table/ decor props was brutal let me tell you!! It took a month but, we got an offer and our offer on the dream house was accepted. We finally got to move the Sunday & Monday of Labor Day weekend. We are just now finally getting settled in and feeling "at home". I missed being able to decorate for summer and setting tablescapes!! But now, I feel like I am back on track and raring to go! I can't wait to go through all of your posts to see what I have missed and get caught up! I'd love to share the first Fall decor in our new home with you :-)

Congratulations on your new home! It's beautiful and your fall decor looks awesome there! Love the fireplace arrangement especially. Hope you will be very happy there!

Congrats, Kathe! I should be called 'Jeanne 'without' an "i" ... LOL! I tried a couple times to see your Fall decor...I'll try again later ... 'adds' keep covering up half of your pics on the right hand side. Aaaarghhh...

Kathe, everything looks wonderful. So happy you sold your home and bought your dream home. I bet you will be on cloud 9 for awhile decorating the New home.

I was wondering what happened to you.

Congratulations!! So glad you were missing for such a fab reason! Your fall dÃÂ©cor is fabulous and it looks like you are livin the dream!!

Any chance you are any closer to me now?

Looks like a beautiful home. I hope you have as beautiful a floor in the new place as you out into the old one!!

Thanks all for warmly welcoming me back :-) Candy, we are now further south and east than before so no, we didn't move closer :-( When Sean's parents came to visit for the first time yesterday, his dad joked that he saw more Kansas license plates than Colorado LOL. The floors are hardwood and are lighter than the laminate floor we had put in the previous house. I was't sure if I'd like that but, they don't show the dirt as much so, I LOVE them now LOL!
Jeanne (without an I LOL), I was having some work done on my blog last week which may have caused you to not be able to read it at that time. Could you let me know if it persists so I can get it fixed?
