Q re solar garden lights

Hi all! Very busy and just stopping in quickly to ask:

I have some of those solar garden lights sets that are each composed of 3 wired stakes with acrylic hummingbirds on top. They work great! but should I be bringing those in when the temps are dropping/freezing or worse? BF is telling me that our harsh winters will break them. Anyone know?

IDK, party ... I leave out my glass globe ones ... but there are no acrylic parts on those. I also leave out my aqua blue canning jar on which I added a metal solar light cap for a's done ok. Jeanne S.

Thanks for the reply, Jeanne. BF convinced me that they probably wouldn't survive outdoors during our winters, so I've brought them in. Too bad... they'd look really cool in the snow!!!

I've always stored mine in the shed, after I take the batteries out.
