Martha Stewart bones

I got 2 boxes of skulls and bones from Martha at Big Lots earlier this year for $1 a box!! She shows them glittered, but that sounds too messy for me. What can I do with them? Thanks!

Edie, that is a very good question. I love them glittered in all colors. Since you have no desire to try that I hope others will help you out with ideas on what to do with them.

Make "bone soup" in a cauldron! LOL! Here's a kid's book that made me think of that!

Jeanne is right! LOL Lots of the blogs that like to decorate in a more "scary" way use them in cloche or big jars. Lots of fake cobwebs and spiders, and maybe a couple of dark colored books and you could have a vignette for a buffet or tabletop.

I saw a pic of them recently, piled into what looked like a pirate's treasure chest. You could even tie an old tattered bandana around the skull and attach a big hoop earring.
I do like the cauldron idea, too.
