Fairy Sightings

I remember someone on this forum (I think) looking for the cute little fairies for their stacked plates. I was just at TJ Maxx and Marshall's and saw lots at both stores. Many different colors. I'd be happy to pick them up and send to you if you can't find them. I'm pretty sure I'll be running by one of them this weekend.
They were $3.99. Happy hunting. I'm looking forward to the great holiday tablesettings and decorations to come from all you talented ladies. |

Hey delph, I haven't seen you here in a while. Good to hear from you again. I wanted some fairies. We don't have a Marshall's close by, but I will hit the TJ Maxx tomorrow!! I'm not sure where you're located. I'm in Central Va. When I went to Chapel Hill, NC in May I googled Marshall's and tried to get to every one I could while I was there. I LOVE THAT STORE!!!!!!!! I would stay broke if there was one near me. If I can't find any fairies here I may take you up on the offer. How sweet you are. I will let you know whether I find any or not. Thanks so much. Betty |

| I happened to be in Marshalls today and saw them too. They were off on a back wall, with some little soldier Xmas ornaments. Almost didn't see the stuff back there. The fairies were in several different colors. hugs, Karen |

Hey Girls, I went to tell you what happened to me yesterday. I went to T J Maxx.......
and they jumped in my basket!! I tried and tried to put them back on the shelf, but I just couldn't part with a single one!
These two will live with my DD. Her favorite color is purple. So I guess you don't have to pick up any and send them to me huh, Delph? There were so many, and I've wanted some ever since I saw them on everyone's stacked plates, and I couldn't choose just one. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! Betty |

| Way to go, Betty. LOL Attack of the Fairies, jumping right in your basket like that. Guess they knew you had some fun things planned for them. Your DD should love those two, so do I. I am looking forward to seeing how you use them in displays now. I see a Fall colored one, the red and the whites for Xmas, the red for Valentines, the green for St Paddy's! Ohboyohboyohboyohboy, what fun ahead decorating. hugs, Karen |

I love the one that represents Fall. The second one seems to be related to Saint Patrick, Am I wrong, Betty? They're lovely! |

| I'm glad you found your fairies. I have quite a few myself. They're like potato chips. You can't just have one. Enjoy! |

| Thanks Girls for admiring my fairies. I have kept my Christmas tree up for 2 years. It is in my living room and no one goes in there but me (and the grandkids who love it too), so I put the white ones and blue one on the tree as soon as I finished taking the pictures. (My tree is mostly blue, white, and silver.) I'm not sure how I will use the others. I will probably use them on stacked plates. I would get some more blue and white ones for my tree but they are heavy and pull my branches down too far. I hadn't thought about Saint Patrick, but I believe the green one would work quite well for that. I just tried to get as many different colors as possible. Betty |

Betty, couldn't you tuck some blue and white ones in more, as if they are sitting on branches peeking out? They shouldn't weigh them down that way? They sound perfect for your special Xmas tree. hmmmm, maybe I should kick the cats out of my study (extra bedroom)and make that a year round Xmas room. LOL. They like to lay in the window sill for the morning sun in there. I could keep the door closed and no one would know but me, it could be my secret little "Happy Place". Of course the problem is all the STUFF I have in there now, LOL. hugs, Karen |

| They are sure cute!~ I like the autumn one. Isn't it funny how things just jump into our carts. |

| Wow, Betty you got some great ones. We have a few showing up in my stores, but not as many as you found! |

| Wow! Betty, now you are prepared for every season! I'm sure your fairies will enjoy living with you and Alfred. I still remember the first time I saw one--it was on Judith's stacked plates two years ago. They really are soooo cute, and I love how they dress each one so cute. Luvs |

Karen- That's the problem at my house. All of the stuff that I've collected in the past year! I probably will pick up at least a couple more of the white and blue ones when I go back if they still have any. I try not to go to TJ Maxx very often. It's not good for our budget! We had to go to town to have Alfred's pic line taken out of his arm yesterday (yea! no more infection) and he was giving me a hard time at dinner last night telling our DD "Mom didn't buy any dishes today, Honey. I couldn't believe it." I didn't go to Ross or TJ Maxx or I'm sure I could have found something! Snolady- You're so right. It IS amazing how they can just jump into our baskets. Of course I park the basket right beside them and help them in with a little push if necessary! Judith-Great to see you posting. Whatcha been up to? It's all your fault, you know. Like Luvs, the first fairy I ever saw was on your stacked plates last year! Luvs- I started off with many more than what I actually brought home. They were all so cute with each one dressed and decorated differently. But I finally got them down to one of each color, except for the 2 I picked up for my DD. And the three white ones for my tree!
