Halloween Decorating

Every year I have a Halloween Party for family and friends. These photos are from last year's party:

This Ghost idea was found in a Martha Stewart Halloween Magazine, but I added a black light to make it glow

Here is the fireplace with the spider web painted pumpkin and white taper candles I painted black stripes on

Here is the table setting with green depression and Vaseline glass.

I had a lot of fun coming up with last year's party, and am currently working on this year's decorations :)

SD I agree with Nana you did a wonderful job!
I love going to Halloween parties with decorations that
make it special.
It shows that a lot of thought went into them and I'm
sure fun to do.
Love all the dramatic lighting which gives a nice glow to everything .
Your table and FP look great too...both fun looking.
I'm looking forward to see what you have planned for this year.

Nana...I'm sure those 13 Witches are getting restless! lol

Oh what fun it would be to come to your home and enjoy all your decor! It all looks wonderful. So glad you shared last years with us. Will be looking forward to this years now.

I've scrolled up and down a few times to make sure I'm not missing anything. The black light is a wonderful idea to use.

Wow, you went to a lot of work. I bet your guests loved it!

I love the spiders crawling up the wall. I also like the striped candles. I wonder if I could do that by using strips of electrical tape?

Is that a real window with the lattice cross-work behind the food table?

I am very impressed with all your dÃÂ©cor.

Thanks! You could try electrical tape for the candles. I just held a brush to the taper and twisted it to make the stripes. The lattice "window" behind the table is fake and was made with white paper and electrical tape on a black tag board "frame."
