Thanks Creek and Nana, the lamp post is old and faded.
I plan on painting it and also the gold outside lights. It's
back to raining alot here tho.

Don't you just love it when an area of your house gets a new facelift! Don't know what the "before" looked like, but your "after" looks great. Nothing like crisp, white railings to sharpen everything up.

My front yard has always been a bit of a disaster. I've done little pick-me-up projects from time-to-time, but I've never been able to make it look very inviting. The other day my husband said something about a small retaining wall like the people down the block and my head started turning with ideas. Hope to follow in your footsteps and get something going in the Fall.

Hope you take a before picture of your front yard and share the
ending results with all of us. I'm so enjoying my yard this
summer. Just baked a fresh ruhbarb/strawberry pie tonight.
