Latest table

When I found this scarf at a thrift store several months ago I thought it would make a pretty table cover.

From 2012-05-22 (by Eye-Fi)

The clear plates are from WalMart, and the amber sherbets are from a local consignment shop.

Although it's hard to tell the stems are light lavender.

The Irish coffee cups are from my DH bar ware collection.

I don't know why, but this table looks better in real life.

It must be the light in this room. I took so many photos

and the scarf looks faded in many of them [which it isn't] or the plates look dusty.

This is lovely Nana...what a great idea using the
scarf. You just gave me a whole new thought about my scarfs!
The colors on 'my end' don't look faded at all -
    In fact they're beautiful..
nor do the dishes look dusty.
I like that the clear plates let the pattern of the scarf
show through and that you added the amber desserts
too. Also using the white tc and napkins really make it pop!
The butterflies on the blue candles is a nice colorful touch
also mimicking the colors in the scarf...which looks pretty.
Your floral CP is beautiful...are they dalhias or peonies from your garden?
I enjoyed looking and thanks on learning a new 'scarf tip'!

Loving the vibrant colors in the scarf. It's perfect for your intended use.
I love the little butterflies that add just the right punch of orange out of the scarf. Your clear glass plates are pretty , and as we all know, clear glass is one of my favorite things.
Beautiful job, thanks for sharing it with us. :)

I love it all, too, nana! Altho I was hoping you'd give it a big PUNCH of ORANGE in the flowers! (Like MUMS!) The ones you have match perfectly ...but ORANGE was popping out at me from that beautiful scarf!

What a great placesetting w/all the clear, lavendar & amber glass...perfect choices! You are good, woman! Those blue tapered candles match so well! Cheery table, nana! TFS! Jeanne S.

(I am MIA again, I guess...I did take down Memorial Day & put 1 pc on porch table...I'll try to get back at it) ...working outside alot, too. So appreciate seeing others' posts! Thanks, nana!

Nana, this is a neat table. Love it that you are so entertaining with all your tables. I had to keep looking so I didn't miss anything.

Wonderful job matching so many of your scarf colors. Love it that so many of you use fresh flowers for the cp's. I have so many but never seem to go out and pick any.

I still have my Memorial settings out. I'm ready to change but need to decide what I'm changing to. DD gave me some dishes with blue bands. I keep thinking I should set a table with them and then take them out to the shed.

What a pretty scarf and a great way to see it by using the clear dishes!

Those orange butterflies pick up the scarf color beautifully!

I know what you mean about sometimes the tables just don't photograph as pretty as they are IRL, but, that being said, I think this table looks lovely.
    The blue candles match perfectly!

Another gorgeous table from our Nana!!

Thank you everyone. I'm glad you enjoyed this table.

Jane, The flowers in the CP are artificial. I couldn't find real

    ones in colors to match.

Candy, I'm glad you understand what I mean about some

tables looking better in real life.

I'm looking forward to seeing more tables from our

wonderfully talented friends here on Holidays.
