I saw these two ideas on Pinterest and saved them, thought you might like to see too.

Teacup bird nests for Spring or Easter.

A very pretty spoon from GW turned into a tea-light holder!

Love those nests in the tea cups! And I have some pretty teacups so will have to do this for spring. That's a good way to make use of a pretty spoon too. Thanks for sharing more good ideas. ;o) Luvs

Karen, the bird nests cups are darling! The middle cup looks like a crocheted butterfly in there. Love this spring look.

Cute spoon candle holder too. Must be a sugar spoon they used for this huh?

I remembered a teacup I found at GW one time that would be perfect to do this with. Its on the large side for a teacup, and is very Spring-y looking. I'll have to pick up some tiny bird or butterfly at Michaels and play around with it.

I'm glad y'all enjoyed these ideas.
hugs, Karen
