My Valentines Table

With the boys birthday winding down, I decided it was time to go forward and get the V Day table done so I could enjoy it for more than just a few days.
Here's the result (it's clear I own very very little in pink and it would probably help if I knew where the iron walked off to *sigh*, lol)..
and the side cabinet...

| Your table looks really pretty. Your red and white rose centerpiece is so pretty, and I love your little knife rests. The beads around the mirrors are so sweet too. The side table is very festive as well, I know your decorating will really put you in the holiday spirit--and it's a great reminder for our DH's too! LOL Luvs |

| Definitely agree with Luvs on your rose centerpiece. So pretty. And I like how that tablecloth sets off the red so well. Nice job on everything. Its nice to decorate early and enjoy things longer I think. hugs, Karen |

| Very pretty, and I love the little puffy hearts on the plates. Are they hanging ornaments? |

MM...Very pretty table..and I agree with the others, your floral centerpiece is lovely. I just love the red and white combination. I also like your pretty red stemware (making a note to get some).. Also your side table looks very festive and I like your red glass pieces there too. I enjoy seeing how you set it up differently for each occasion. I'm sure you loved having 'your turn' doing a pretty table for you!! lol I'm laughing at Luvs..she's right, by doing this early, gives the DH's plenty of time NOT to forget Valentine's Day!! jane |

Thank you :)! Luvs: My little knife rests are actually something I devised when I couldn't find a whole set of any I liked. They are a pair of decorative cabinet door knobs.. lol Not exactly "normal" but it worked. PM: Yes, the little puffy hearts are ornaments that I whacked the strings off of. The centerpiece is built in the floral frog I found at the TS for my BDay. I'm finding that thing to be a very handy little object. I'm pretty happy with this one , maybe more so than my others now that my collection of "stuff" is starting to grow a bit more. I showed my sister and she knows my penchant for darker colors and the first thing she said was "Good grief, I didn't know you even owned a white tablecloth".. LOL Baby steps..... |

Very pretty and my favorite color combo!! Thanks for sharing. J |

| Very pretty! Such a creative way to fashion knife rests! I have that same little red "jug" - I think it's an Avon bottle. Nice to hear of someone else who irons "infrequently" - I know where mine is and it can stay there as far as I'm concerned! ;-D I'll have to make friends with it tho if I want to use some of my nicer tablecloths. |

Lucky :: I hadn't even thought to look at the little "jug" until you mentioned it but I did and it is an Avon bottle (it says AVON 24 on the bottom). How neat as I seem to be drawn to them even without trying. I found it sitting all alone on a shelf for $1.50 in a tiny little TS and picked it up because it was red , never giving any thought to it otherwise. |

| So pretty! I also love the red & white...much more than pink. This tablescape is beautiful & the dishes just shine! Great idea for the knife rest! That mirror above your side cabinet is also very beautiful...I love how you change the decor on it with your table. TFS! Enjoy! Jeanne S. |

LOL...LG... "Nice to hear of someone else who irons "infrequently" - I know where mine is and it can stay there as far as I'm concerned! ;-D I'll have to make friends with it tho if I want to use some of my nicer tablecloths" I feel the same about my iron. Except I do NOT want to make friends with mine thank you very much! Which is why you probably won't see tablecloths if I ever do set a table to show you. LOL. MM, that is a very creative idea for a knife-rest. And lovely to boot. You probably just started something new here! Home Depot here comes the Holiday gang! hugs, Karen |

| Beautiful Valentine's table. I'm so glad you enjoy setting your table for so many occasions and take the time to share here. It's always great to see what color you will come up with next. We set a simple little table for the game and you have inspired me to share. My company won't mind as they have enjoyed seeing pictures of my tables I've created. Punk |
