My sweet, sweet friends. How deeply you touch my heart, every day of the year! I knew if I came here to read posts, I'd feel better but I wasn't expecting to see this one. Creek is going thru the SAME thing, over the loss of her Mom a year ago. She needs the prayers and good thoughts herself, yet unselfishly she is thinking of me.
How blessed I am to know her, and all of you.

I'm doing better this evening, just glad this day is almost past and soon behind me. Tomorrow is a new day and I don't want to go into it with sadness. I am going to try to concentrate on Dad's joy of life and all his laughter.

I am doing the same Karen, as sit with my father waiting for him to be ready to take his final journey.
I prayed really hard that he would not pass yesterday as it was my birthday and that would be too much for me to bear each year. My prayers were answered.
Please know that you are in my prayers too, that you might find peace each year on the anniversary of your dear daddy passing.
