Hi -- I told BF that I could make napkins from his favorite old oxford-style cotton shirts and he's very excited. :) What are some of the best napkin sizes? I'd like to get as many as possible from each shirt. lol!

My favorite size is 16" square with a folded hem ~~ Jeanne S ...that will be cool, party.

RE: Best napkin sizes?

I agree with Jeanne on the size....
Great them off when you're done.

RE: Best napkin sizes?

Thank you! I'm not sure I can get more than one napkin per shirt at that size, but will see what I can do. :)

RE: Best napkin sizes?

Wow, never thought about the size of napkins I like so
measured several of mine and most are 16-18 hemmed.
I have some that are 22 but they can be floppy. Others
that are oblong and most of time I end up rolling them up
to be able to use them.

This will be so fun to see how they turn out. Maybe you
could cut squares and sew them together and make
some matching sets. I still have material to make some
so this helps me deciding what size to cut them. Thanks
for asking Party.
