Found these little plaid doggie plates at local thrift store for 25 cents each. Put them behind range top (where there is a lip) to add color to the stove. I think it kind of mimics tiles.

All found at thrift store. Used battery operated lights on timers to highlight them.

Christmas tree 2014. Went simple this year. We just decorated with ornaments.

Oh I see more plaids ... love that theme! Those doggie plates do look like 'tiles!' & Jack looks pretty spiffy with that plaid scarf! Your tree looks simply beautiful with all the ornaments! Very festive, swest! ~~Jeanne

Love your plaid theme too, and your whole home just looks so festive. I love ts shopping, get so excited when I find a treasure. Your finds made a sweet display. I think Jack deserves a treat for posing in his Christmas scarf. ;o)
