Awwwwwww, there's some cute stuff there. My son will be 25 thisyear on Ground Hogs day, and I am always looking for a jokey thing to do lest he forget what day it is! LOL!!! Thanks for sharing. Have you seen amything like it for Hoodie Hoo day! We celebrate it each year here at my sisters store. For those who don't know, we go outside at noon, and everyone yells Hoodie Hoo to scare winter away. Ha! Yeah, well, it can't be any weirder than waiting for a groundhog to come out of his hole, huh!??? It is a big ordeal, we have cakes, posters, lots and lotsa food, and everyone in the little village joins in one way or another. Last year we were in the newspaper and on the radio. Been doing it for about 17 years! Just something to chase away the cabin fever and get outta the house!

When the boys were little I'd make hamburger with rice in it and pretend it was ground hog. I'd make little patties and oven bake them. Then it took all night to get them to eat them.

HA HA HA, Minnie, My Mom used to make those all the time, but she told us they were porcupine meatballs!!!!!! LOL

My DH will be 61 years old on Ground Hog's Day...and I've bought him the Deluxe George Foreman Grill ! Every year, for the past 15 or so, I've bought a huge, expensive piece of exercise equipment that he "smiles" at, tries for a while and neglects...well, since he won't stop eating so much,... perhaps I can make it a bit healthier ! He's on a meatloaf binge now...maybe I'll add some rice to it for an authentic Ground hog delicacy !!! LOL !!!
