| Wedding Bells that is. DD3 and her wonderful fiancee are getting married in March. I am so happy for them. They are planning a small wedding. If they were having a large reception I imagine their tables looking something like this.
A table that I saw at a Tablescape event, last winter, was my inspiration.
I used a combination of old and new pieces here. The cut glass stemware belonged to my DGM and DM.
This beautiful vintage tablecloth was a gift from DD1 and DSIL,
I just love these battery operated lighted branches. This one has seed lights, although they don't show up very well in the pictures. I added beads for more sparkle, and to look more like the original.
My son cut a piece of plexiglass I raised to
PS I don't know what I did to get those small pictures lol Thanks for looking

| oooooooo..... I am so excited for you and your DD3!!! Weddings bring such a wonderful stream of get-togethers and celebrations. Your table is beautiful and the under-lighting is absolutely knock-out gorgeous. I'm wondering how the table height works with the raised plexiglass -- or did you use a shorter table beneath? It's really stunning. How large is a small wedding these days? My niece got married in July 2011 (what fun!) and the venue she chose could only hold about 100 people. She had trouble keeping her guest list that small because of the size of the families involved. :p Good luck and have fun! :) |

| Congrats, nana! Your table is beautiful, very elegant! Will you be doing the tables for the wedding? |
|
| Thanks everyone. This is an exciting time for us. DD3's upcoming wedding and DD4 got engaged at Christmas. PM, the table is raised just over 2 inches. It shouldn't make much difference for seating. There will be about 50 people at the wedding. Jane, please 'steal' my idea for the napkin rings. I'd love to see what you come up with. I miss seeing your your wonderful tables. I hope your house sells soon. Jeanne, Peach is my daughter's favorite color and she is using it in her wedding. Fun, my DD did love my ideas, she is going with something simpler, tho. Kathleen, thank you. I won't be doing the wedding tables. She lives to far away, and it would be too hectic. I want to be able to spend the time with her, before the ceremony. Thanks again everyone. | In your secret life, you are a wedding planner I presume? ;o) That is such a PRETTY table! Tho its good you won't be having to do the work for 50 or so people, and can just enjoy the big event. Congratulations on the upcoming wedding and the recent engagement of your girls. How exciting for you, and them!! hugs, Karen |
