Peacock Table One

Last fall when I was at Hobby Lobby, they were featuring Peacocks for Christmas trees, so with a table in mind, I bought a set of Peacock ornaments. A few days later my friend Janice asked what I was doing for my next table, I said I was thinking of a Peacock theme so she offered her Peacock candle holder. When I got started on the table I realized that I didn't have two of the purple salad plates so I did a table for one.

At the time I liked this set up... I would do it differently now

I wanted to show both Peacock tables here but I am having problems so I'll show the other on separately.

RE: Peacock Table One

Oh Nana this table is amazing too. Love the purple dinnerware and the way you stacked them. Hope you can find another salad plate.

Sweet peacock ornament. Beautiful blue vase your roses are in. I always love bling! Jane's Peacock Candle cp she loaned you really makes a wonderful statement. It must be quite large.

Again I'm loving your fancy beaded place mat. More pretty table cloths. Wish you was my neighbor and I'd bring over my tureen DD bought me for my bday last year and we'd set a table on one of your beautiful tc's.LOL

So enjoyed your tables you shared, Nana.
Thanks, Punk

RE: Peacock Table One

Wow Nana what a striking table. I love the color
combination which shows up as purple and teal on my screen.
I agree with Punk, love the plate stacking and the beaded placemat.
You always use a pretty tablecloth to use as striking 'backdrops' for your place settings...I guess we can't have too many....right?
Your friend's fancy Peacock candleholder was just 'waiting' for this table.
It's a perfect match for your Peacock ornament and what clever thinking to use it as a napkin holder!
Again, I agree with Punk...I always enjoy your tables.

RE: Peacock Table One

I saw the peacocks for Christmas and did not "get it". Here they look beautiful. I love the jewel tones.

RE: Peacock Table One

Thank you Punk, Jane and Arcy
Punk the bud vase I used belonged to my DGM on my mom's side.
She didn't have a lot so I'm thrilled to have something that belonged to her.
Jane the colors are purple and teal. I wish I used a different placemat so that the beaded one showed up better.
the way it does on table two.
Arcy I did my Christmas tree in Peacock colors.
I liked how it turned out. It was a big departure from how I usually do it.

Nana, so neat to know the bud vase was your DGM's.
Even sweeter knowing she didn't have alot and you
still cherish it. So beautiful!
