My lovely young cousin is anxiously awaiting the birth of her first baby....A boy, due to be born Friday by c-section.
So this table is for her. I hope she likes it.

I thought it was best to keep things simple.

I had a hard time getting the shots to l look the way I wanted for some reason.

The little ceramic baby shoes date back to the 1930s
The blocks are arranged to spell welcome to the new arrival.

Nana, what a sweet table. Babies are so fun and this shows your excited about the new arrival.
Love the stacked blocks with mylar baloon for the cp. Where on earth did you come up with
those darling ceramic baby shoes dating back to the 30's?

Place settings with rattles and pacifiers are the cutest. Did you go out and buy these for this table?
I think I have a little train that would work for a baby table if I ever decide to set one. Oh and I
still have a pink bag that would be fun to use as the cp. I better get back and visit with DS or I'll be
    resetting our table.LOL

    Enjoyed this, Nana. Punk

wow, that's so exciting to have a baby in the family. Good luck to your cousin! I assume that the c-section scheduled because she's overdue?!

Your table is very nice and I especially like the center piece. Very cute and those booties are adorable!

Love how you used the rattle for the napkin rings and the pacifier too. Blocks and balloon are perfect centerpiece but those booties are wonderful. Tell us more about them please. Luvs

Thanks everyone. It is a joyful time for our family.
The little ceramic shoes came to me from a cousin
On my Dad's side of the family.
Punk, I did buy the rattles and pacifiers, the blocks have been around here for years.
I think one of my DDs used them for a baby shower she hosted.
A little train would have looked cute on this table too.
PM. The mom to be is not overdue. The baby is breach and there is room for him to turn.
Thank you all again for lookin. I'm glad you enjoyed this table.

    Too cute!

What a special time and a special table to celebrate the new arrival. You did a wonderful job.

PS, my oldest DD was breech, but they didn't do C-sections back then like they do now, so I had her the old fashioned way!! The Dr. tried to turn her, but she was just as stubborn then as she is now, LOL!!

    Congratulations on the new baby,
    Candy
