After I read this, I decided its just the New Year's Wish I would like to make....

I'm just really sick of, and very sad, about all the wars and bombings in the daily news. So this quote just made me feel good to think about something "pretty" like it instead.

love the Crayola analogy - what person cannot relate to the fun with Crayola crayons and think back to a more innocent time - thanks for putting a smile on my face :) .....

Karen, wonderful, I wish we could color our world like this too. We just shipped another Marine off today and he's leaving his wife and baby girl that's 2 months. Sure hope Skype works for them.

Yes, Karen, I whole-heartily agree. Reminds me of that old saying about having bake sales to buy guns, bombs, etc. and using the money that's designated for the military on education. Color me "rainbow."
