Can anyone tell me about Infiniti products?

I am currently looking for my future vechicle. My lease is up in March but most dealers have told me they will make my last 2 payments.
I am interested in the infiniti FX35 AWD. I have to travel quite a bit to drive one but my thinking it that is it similar to a Nissan Murano.
Is Infiniti built by Nissan?
Any advice would be appreciated!

| Infiniti is a Nissan in upscale dress much as Lexus is a fancy Totota. Check www.carsurvey.org for reviews. Most people gave it good marks except for repair costs. From what I have seen the rear view camera that comes as a option for tight parking areas would be a good thing to have. Lance |
