My brother in law just bought a used topper for his truck. The windows have been blacked out with black spray paint. What is a good way to remove this paint?

RE: remove spray paint from glass

If the windows are glass, use a razor blade type scraper to remove the bulk of the paint, then scrub the remaining paint using a glass cleaner containing a mild abrasive. If the windows panes are plastic, you'll probably have to replace.

One can use the finest of steel wools, the least abrasive, as I have read on this forum..
But these windows could well be plastic(plexiglass)...

RE: remove spray paint from glass

If the windows are official glass and not plastic, and the paint is enamel, lacquer thinner will soften it enough to remove it with a scraper.
