I use a product called Goof-Off and haven't found anything it hasn't worked on. I believe i got it at lowe's. It comes in a little can like the old lighter fluid cans. It talkes off labels, crayons, magic markers. It's made in the USA and has a web site.

I bought a glass table at C&B's scratch and dent area almost a year ago for a great price-- but the glass had some scratches on it... I was determined to do something with it-- spoke to a glass company and they said if the scratches can be really felt with your fingernail they couldn't buff them out totally successfully- he said if they were very superficial scatches, they could remove them. I was going to paint the scatched surface and flip it so it was on the bottom sortof like glass tiles, but I didn't like me little sample corner- I decided to either replace the glass or just keep as is and now it doesn't even bother me-- it's not as apparent as when standing under the lights in the store and I usually have some things on the table that help mask them....

I have 9 black windows down stairs and all of them are covered in spray foam. I’ve tried acetone, but it also ate away my black paint on my vinyl windows. The only thing that works to remove just the spray foam is fingernail polish remover. You will use a lot of it and a lot of rags but it works well. It does take a bit of time and elbow grease fyi…but at least it doesn’t take the paint off. The windows where I used acetone, it made them very dull and left a white film so I am going to see if any of my car detailing products will work to shine my window back up. There is a lot of great products made for car vinyl to bring the black back. I haven’t gotten there yet but I’ll keep you posted if it gives it that brand new look back. Save yourself some time and headaches by using fingernail polish remover to remove spray foam from black windows!

I had wondered how your clean up was going. Then maybe go fo the car top coat paint then- it's the sturdiest of the clear paints for this sort of thing. And it comes in a little nail polish sized bottle with it's own brush, so fairly easy to use. Paint your backside after your epoxy is well done setting and you know your shank is firmly attached.
