| friends car. 150k miles. noisy front/rear end. shop said balljoint, front/rear sway bar end links. still has rattle in rear. sway bar bushing? easy to get to. original struts and mounts. i have heard that this gen protege's are just noisy. rear rattle seems tied to wheel motion. lateral link? |

| Its likely. The sway bar bushings and especially the links can rattle like crazy. They can make so much noise you'll think the wheel is likely to fall off. |

| we did the links. still rattles. bushings look ok but we will do those next. front is quieter now. links were loose in front but seemed ok in rear. |
