Battery remote change

I'm changing the batteries in my GM van remote entries.......does it need to be reprogrammed at the dealership or will it continue to work?

it'l work. Just don't take more than 15 mins to change batteries.

Oh Oh, It's been sitting empty for 2 hours :(
I just wrote down the battery # and put the old one back in till I get new ones.
If it does not work when I put new ones in, can I reprogram it? or must I take it to the dealer?

You might be lucky. I should work. Try it. If all else fails read the directions that came with it.
