Any Suggestions on Cleaning a Stain???

| I spilled chicken soup on my front passenger car mat this morning. It has soaked down into the carpeted mat & looks awful. Anyone have any suggestions on what to use to clean it? Thanks so much. |

| If one has a wet/dry vac, I would vacuum it up, then use any type of carpet cleaner on the stain. Sooner the better |

| I washed the mat with a normal kitchen cleaner & scrubbed it with a hard bristle brush, then used my garden hose on it to rinse it off. It's back to normal & looks fine. Thanks for the suggestions. Sorry, I don't have a dog. |
