There's a lot of wrong BCW seeds out there and at another message site there's a very long thread about it. It's one of several varieties bred by Joe Bratka's father and Joe found the seeds in glass jars already named by his father but he couldn't germinate the seeds so sent them to me and I was able to germinate: Box Car Willie Mule Team Pasture Great Divide Red Barn There isn't much difference between the first two and I think the last one is overlooked and should be grown more. As tor reliable sites for BoX Car Willie I would not suggest Reimers or Totally Tomatoes b'c in the thread at the other site BCW was not correct. I'm going to link to Tania's page on BCW so you see some of the seed sources and again, from that other long thread I would suggest Sandhill Preservation and Heirloom Seeds in PA. But remy just said I sent the seeds to her as I did to both Sanhill And TGS, so why not order BCW seeds from her, just Google The Sample Seed Shop. And for those interested in Red Barn I know Glecklerseedmen, you can Google it, lists Red Barn. I simply don't have the time to go to each of the seed sites Tania lists so can only suggest the ones I did above. If there are spare fuses in the fuse block, these are usually labeled as 'spare'. Replace the burned-out fuse with one of the same current rating. If there are no spares of the same kind, you can purchase a replacement at most any auto parts store. Tip: While you are at the parts store, buy a set of fuses for your fuse block and put these in a zip-lock bag and store in the glove box or other convenient place.

Wayne, what company did you end up with. I have always had SF. Don't even know who else to try. Randy, the rep asked how many breakers I had. Told her I didn't know (didn't have the picture handy) but that there was a circuit box and two fuses which we planned to switch over once we got settled. She basically said she didn't hear the part about the fuses because they are not supposed to insure them anymore. Considering the electrical in all the houses we looked at in WV- I don't see why SF even serves the area! Every house has some sort of "interesting" electrical stuff! I need to remember which box I packed my yellow Readers Digest home repair box. That thing is like the "Bible of home repair"- much better than the newer blue edition! Yes, it means you can use 30A fuses in it. However, you don't just go willy nilly changing fuses just because that box allows larger ones. The size of the fuse is determined by the ampacity of the circuit which not only includes that box but also the wiring involved. Fuses are only necessary at the point the branch circuit originates. The exterior disconnect typically doesn't need it. It's just a way for the guy who's servicing the unit to be able to assure the power is off.
