J.D. it's beautiful at all times of the year, but try to come early in the year when the climate is fairly cool, or bring an ice pack to wear under your hat to cool you down. Well, I got the giant lirope out of the 30 year old strawberry pot! It is now awaiting planting with various colorful sedums and other dry soil plants. At least it will be something that won't have to be watered everyday.

That extensive no bake cookbook would be a great gift too.. Have you thought about making copies???? I know I would like one....

I love the current green, and the yellow front door! The uniformity of the green allows the garage car-doors and people-door to blend in. I'd remove the fence unless it is serving a purpose (which I don't see). For safety, ensure the visibility of your house numbers from the street. Is there anything you'd like to add out front, such as a sitting space, a cover or a bench near either door? (I don't see the need for anything, it's just what functionality you would like.) For landscaping suggestions, re-post your picture, include your planting zone, the direction your house faces (East?), and a nearby major city so that people can make practical recommendations, and hope that a professional gives you a pretty picture to go by :-) Nice house!

your walls and ceiling should all be painted a fresh white. start with that. you have a nice sized opening for a fridge . I might go and get a french door fridge that fits better. Upgrade the ceiling light and fan fixture in the main room. that one looks old. heres a nicer newer fixture for the main room what type of dwelling is this..no operative windows in kitchen/dinette zone??? I only see maybe one ceiling return for that whole section??? does the HVAC need update? Have you thought of opening up the wall and installing a window? Maybe some "whole house infrastructure improvements " can go on a list that you can do over time. Paint is not difficult or very costly for now, if you have limited funds.
