I took the plunge and got a new computer...1 TB of memory. Hopefully it will hold all my music and pictures. But due to being computer illiterate, I'm still trying to find my way around the differences from the old computer. The comp geeks transferred everything from the old computer to the new one, but I guess it's up to me to find out how to access it. And, of course, there are long-forgotten passwords that prevented me from accessing email, finally resolved today. I went to a wonderful folk concert at a local guitar shop. John McCutcheon played banjo, guitar, keyboard, dulcimer, and sang with the most marvelous voice. What a treat! Tomorrow, tickets go on sale for folk singer John Prine who will be at the Cascade Theatre in a few months. Yippee! Mary

Thanks so much, catmom, arcy, purrus, nini, and lisa! They did the real estate photos yesterday and after some light staging I think the house looked amazing. We just edited out a few more things from the counter and added some decor items. We brought in a bistro table and stools to take the place of the sideboard that was moved to the great room. I also used the floating shelf I just had made for over the tub and used it for the blank space over the sofa instead. I convinced DH to hang it as part of a compromise in which he did not have to move and rehang the heavy wall clock :) These are just a few cell phone pics but I can't wait to see the professional photos!

Oh Louise, I've used that nasty secret too when our grands were little. When the dinner time "witching hour" happened to the baby and I still had to deal with the 2 bigger girls and their dinner, I put on Baby Mozart (which her Mom said she loved "once in a while") Well, she loved it for every single night that I was there for that week. Every single night. Worked like a charm. That baby sat on the floor quietly looking up at the tv with a smile on her face while I happily ignored her while I was getting dinner. I never told her Mom.
