| About a week ago my Ford Emplorer's ('98) car alarm went off spontaneously. I pushed the button on the key fob and it went off. I figured it was due to the high winds that day. Then it kept happening a few times a day. Oddly, it seems to happen more often when I am not home even though the vehicle is at home more often than not. I really don't care about the alarm (who would steal a '98 Explorer?), is there a way to deactivate it or is this something I need to take it to the dealer for? Thanks. |

| Testing is of course required, the most likely cause is a faulty door ajar switch or circuit. |
