By JD I assume you mean John Deere, if not disregard what I am about to say. If it is John Deere the 125 should be preceded by two letters ie LT 155. If the Cruise had not worked before you took the deck off, I would suggest you make sure there is no yard debris interfering with that locking mechanism for the Cruise.

Here's the scoop on spraying. I spray weekly. The spray has to be early enough in the day that it will dry before dew sets at night. Thus, I can spray at 6 p.m. in the summer when I get off work if need be. Get at least a one gallon or two gallon sprayer with wand. Don't use an old Windex bottle as the coverage is not adequate. Spray with goal of getting every leaf, and particularly try to get under the bottom leaves where blackspot starts. I try to spray using Ortho's product formerly known as Funginex. I also use a second type of fungicide either in combination with Funginex or in the alternate weeks. Now that I have a peach tree I will alternate captan which is part of the fruit tree spray. In early spring Daconil is alternated because it is good for the early spring fungal problems. In the summer heat Daconil will stress roses. I include in each spray a foliar feed, including 1 tbsp per gal. Miracid or Miracle Gro, and 1 tbsp per gal. fish emulsion. I also have Pentathlon and Immunox on the shelf just in case. Pentathlon is used just in case a spotted leaf should show up and then I try to innoculate the plant with repeat sprays as per directions. And Immunox I will use for powdery mildew roses, occasionally. Of course regular watering is needed and if it is dry, water the day before you spray.

What threw me was that you said you had a throttle body injector and most of those were just one step up from a carburetor. But you mentioned an engine module controller. If you have an engine module controller, likely you also have an IACS ( idle air controller). The IACS with the engine controller adjusts the engine idle speed. A serious vacuum leak can upset this system and this may be your problem. Find that leak. Many of the little plastic fittings in the vacuum hoses are restrictors - these have small calibrated holes to restict the amount of air flow. One such restrictor is in the vacuum feed to the heater/AC system that operates the various actuators in the air plenums. Thus, if any of these hoses gets pulled off, the amount of vacuum leak is restricted. Lean out problems may occur if any of these restrictor fittings have been replaced with standard straight-through fittings. Places for vacuum leaks: o Tubing o Fittings o Vacuum bottle (often on or near the fire wall) o Power brake o Vapor recovery system o Any AC vacuum operated parts such as a hot water diverter valve located in the heater hoses. If you can hear the leak, this helps in your search. I am not familar with the system for '88 Chevys. I had an older 1980 Chevrolet Citation, V6 2.8 L and I recall that it had a peculiar vacuum control. The vacuum was limited to say 16 inches. When the vacuum exceeded this value, a valve allowed air to enter the intake which leaned the mixture severely and stopped combustion. This was done to prevent backfiring in the exhaust and blowing off the converter. This came into play mostly when slowing down or comming down a hill with a closed throttle with the engine was in engine braking mode. This never gave any trouble, but could have if it stuck open. Of my 15 cats, only the first one was allowed out and that changed too. He was a Siamese and we lived in the country then for a brief time. Then we moved to the suburbs but lived on a dead end street. One day Simon went missing and was gone for two days. He finally returned and we figured he got locked in someone's garage. Then he got into a catfight and we didn't realize it until he got very sluggish. We parted his fur and saw a wound that had become infected. Off to the vet, antibiotics, and he was homebound the rest of his life which was 20 years. Loved that cat and so did my kids. My daughter has his twin (female though) and a larger lighter male, her brother. Of course, they are strictly inside too.
