Mineral Oil - Improve Gas mileage?
| | |
Posted by piddlerdad3 (My Page) on Thu, Sep 13, 07 at 23:57
| I had someone recommend to me that I should try putting a few ounces of pure mineral oil in my gas tank and in my crankcase in order to boost gas mileage.
Is this a reliable and safe thing to do for gasoline vehicles? I would rather not have any negative consequences to my engine.
Thanks, dennis |

| At the least, it would be a waste of the mineral oil. Otherwise, the answer is NO, don't do it. |

| Would think few ounces of mineral oil should increases your volume of gas. Might squeek when you walk though. |
