97 Grand am low coolant light

Posted by metsins (My Page) on

I was curious if a bad thermostat would cause this light to come on or what would be the best idea on how to fix this. I havent found any leaks but i do know there is a very tiny leak by the water pump. I keep it topped off and it still is showing low coolant. Any suggestions would be helpful.

" I haven't found any leaks but i do know there is a very tiny leak by the water pump." WHAT ? That means you have a leak. a bad T stat will not cause this. Need more history.
