It's a different mower that Toro first fielded under the Lawn-Boy marque as the 'Insight' series. The Super Bagger a few years ago was the LB 10791. Toro just changed the paint colors and made it the Super Bagger. Very good mowers, with the top of the line being the commercial version. The Toro is the 22156. The corresponding LB was the 22271. In the above quote, what did you mean by 'speed'?

Well - I have the same mower and occasionally it will be hard starting when hot. I noticed after the last oil & air filter change it was alot better. And the spark plug has one summer on it. Try those 3 and see what happens. I don't ever prime when this happens. I just yank a few more times and she fires up eventually. Of course I am 6' 4" and close to 3 bills, so my "yank" is harder than the average owner. Also - my Intek has always had a stumble for about 1-2 minutes after a hot restart. The longer it sits the worse it is - which tends to back up the idea of some sort of vapor lock or air in the fuel line. It still operates fine - it is more like a small misfire that clears out. Jim

lotta different Ferris machines out there - pls post back with machine model, engine make, engine model and engine type/code. M/W, do the simple things - completely drain fuel, replace with fresh - remove engine shroud and clean fins (look for mice chewing on plug wires), etc. Certain Briggs engines need valve adjustments, but we need at least yer engine model/type/code info to give any decent advice.

1. Any trouble codes set? 2. Measure the resistance of all ignition leads. Any of these out of bounds? My experience with this engine found that the OEM leads can increase in resistance enough when hot to cause weak, or ignition misfire. The engine, with cold leads started ok, but would misfire under load after the leads got hot.
