Cold start

hi,

My hyundai elantra, has a problem in the morning,,,i.e. it seems to apply more accelerator in to get it off,,,or i have to start the engine for 10 mins before moving,,,,but after a while it becomes fine and ride smoothly,,,so till engine is cold it doesnot ride smoothly,,,,

also the "check" light goes on sometimes...advise needed.

Maybe the t-stat( which I doubt) or the temperature sensor.
She should be warm within 3 to 6 minutes.
The temp sensor should allow a richer mixture until the engine is warm.
Best to go the the man with the equipment to read and interpret the codes..This "CEL" being on may be serious...

What year, how many miles, has this Korean piece of work ever been "tuned up" ???

Or better yet, go to the man who can rewrite your question so it's understandable, then repost it. Maybe we can give advice then.

You left gas in the carb for long time, even you vitually inspect the internal of the carb, it might not be good enough. Get SeaFoam and run a tankful and see what happen since you can somehow start it. If you are going to leave gas in the trimmer for storage, use Stabil from now on. The way I store stuff is to empty the tank, run it dry, close the choke, prime the bulb, hold full throttle and start it and let it run to stop, and keep pulling while holding full throttle. This should pull all the gas out of the carb. THis work only on handheld trimmer etc.

What do you want to grow? It's too late to start tomatoes from seed (that should have been started in mid-July). I direct sow lettuce and carrots in the fall, but start broccolli and onions in containers. I don't bother with grow lights and just set the containers in a sunny spot and hope for good weather. As soon as they're up and have a true leaf or two, I transplant into the garden. I started corn and pole bean seeds in containers a few weeks ago and it seems like they pop up more quickly that way. Cucumbers were direct sown. I don't think light is necessary for germination, but once they pop up, they need it right away. Maybe you could start the seeds indoors and rush out to transplant into the community garden as soon as they're up?

ODR will usually require a change in a boiler's near piping to protect the boiler from low return water temperatures.

I agree with you regarding clear & detailed questions. I'd also add that when an ANSWER is given, it too should be posted clearly and not contain Jargon that is ONLY known to the person doing the writing. HEY EARTHWORM, Not everyone understands your MADE UP Accronyms or abbreviations. To some,"CEL" might stand for, "CHECK EARTHWORMS LINGO", instead of Check Engine Light ! Below is a sample of your "EARTHWORMISMS". And finally for DON, Why do you make reference to RandomSD being a Bigot ?
