I HAVE 88 CHEVY 350 G20 VAN. I GET CODE 42. I CHANGED THE ECM BUT NO CHANGE IN THE STALLING PROBLEM. ENGINE RUNS GREAT AND THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN - COUGH STUDDER AND SOMETIMES NEAR STALL, SOMETIMES COMPLETE STALL.
SHUT OFF THE IGNITION, WAIT A MOMENT OR TWO, RESTART, 'CHECK ENGINE LIGHT' IS OFF AND SHE RUNS GREAT AGAIN. THIS MAY HAPPEN 1-3 TIMES A DAY. THE ENGINE IS NOT MISFIRING, THERE SEEMS TO BE A COMPLETE IGNITION FAULT SOMEWHERE, BECUASE LIKE I SAID, ONCE THE EPISODE HAS PASSED THE ENGINE RUNS SMOOTH AND STRONG LIKE ALWAYS.

ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS?

THANKS

MIKE

Change the spark module and turn off your cap lock on your
