rotor problems

I think I just got "taken for a ride" by my dealership.. I had squeeky, grinding brakes back in Jan'14. I took it to a repair shop (national/reputable company) and he showed me that the rotors were scored down due to the caliper being stuck on the disc because of the hose that is attached was broken. They fixed the hose, replaced the discs, and I was good to go.. Forward to Sept '14, I started to feel brakes "jumping/vibrating" when pushed. Took it into my dealership this time, they said the rear discs were warped and the front ones were rusted and corroded, but the brake pads were fine. $500+ later, I have new discs, again, second time in a 9 month period. So, my question is, is this normal? What would be the possible reasons that this is happening? I had this car for 7 years with 0 problems!! I'm not sure who to go to with this, the place that did the first repair, or the most recent one?? Thanks for any input, and keep in mind that I'm not car savy ;>)
