1998 Honda Civic 250,000 miles using antifreeze

| My son has a 98 Honda Civic that is using about 2 cups of anti freeze a day. Also, the car heats up with the AC on and/or driving in city traffic. Apparently there is no antifreeze leaking that is obvious. This has been going on for a month or so.
I'm going to do a pressure test on it this weekend but I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and could give me some ideas on what to look for? Worse case scenario is a warped head but I'm hoping it's not that. All suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks |

| If it has an electric fan, make sure that's working. Heating up under the conditions described would be consistent with it not working. |
