Help me with this...

I figured I'd post here for some info before taking my truck back to the shop for the very same problem. I have

a Dodge Dakota(now 13 yrs old...but runs like a breeze, as I've been the only owner). It will not idle! When I have to

stop, or, take my foot from the accelerator, it shuts off

promptly. Perhaps someone might have an idea of what this could be. I have a good mechanic (I think) but...I'm thinking that HE isn't sure what the problem is. Thanks!

Does it cut out when hot, cold or both?

It cuts out whether hot or cold. It only stays on if I keep the accelerator depressed a bit while braking at the
same time.

How positive are you it's a lily? From this distance, it looks like Vinca minor. If it is Vinca, it grows fast and goes everywhere. It's invasive in certain parts of the US.

Yah, if that is a concern for you, then you are in for a long year. They look like perfectly healthy plants. If you don't want them, give them away, Someone would love to have some nice starters about this time of year. Enjoy those guys, nothing wrong with them.

Looks like it's this one, which unfortunately purports to be discontinued. https://wilsonlighting.com/quoizel/ky2822ib/five-light-pendant-kyle I found it using the Pinterest add-on for Chrome (which will search for similar products based on an image). If you look around, maybe you can find other people selling it; I found a few listings, but they all 404'd.

It may be the IACS (idle air control system). Let your mechanic have a look at your truck, and describe the problem as you have here. I bet that he has seen this before.
