Ford Contour seat belt replacement

Is there any trick to replacing the drivers seat belt? It's my son's car at college and the seat belt is jammed. The nearest Ford dealer is at least 20 miles away.

Seems in theory the hardest thing would be to get the plastic off between the front and back door where the belt disappears. But I've been fooled by simple things before.

never mind - done.

But had to go out an buy one of those torx sockets. Whose idea was it to come up with a different bolt head type that causes you to have to buy more tools? What's the point of a torx head anyway? Some government conspiracy thing? I mean really..........
