miss at idle: again

fairly common issue online. lots of threads. erratic engine miss at idle. drives fine off idle. it will miss when cold too. does that rule out lean idle miss since the mixture is richened up slightly when cold? same miss when hot. new intake gaskets. new plugs/wires. steady vacuum reading. checked brake booster hose. cleaned egr valve. miss comes and goes and is not constant. seems to vary. o2 sensors? do they even control computer when motor is cold? map sensor? maf sensor? will motor run with both unplugged for test?

Idle air control maybe?

RE: miss at idle: again

sparkplugs? caddy with northstar. did headgaskets 2yrs ago. put in single tip platinum autolites. not ac-delco dbl platinum's. so i put them in and miss is 90% gone. not perfect but close to it. old plugs were gray and dry. don't think it is injector related.
