Wheel covers

Hi, I have a 01 Nissan Sentra with a bent wheel cover on the front driver's side. I notice it is held on by large bolts. Are these hard to remove, and what tool would be best to remove it? Thank you.

RE: Wheel covers

The wheel cover, and the wheel itself are both held by those wheel nuts. Removal of the wheel cover is essentially the same job as removing the tire, which you would need to do if you got a flat. If you have not done this yourself now is as good of a time to learn as any. But get some help from someone experienced for your first try in the interest of safety.

I am also having problems with my new wheel cover which I bought online just last week. I can't remove it so I got it removed by my brother. Good thing he knows how to.

RE: Wheel covers

I am also having problems with my new car which I bought just a few months ago. I am just a new owner of cars that's why I don't know how to remove the wheel cover. I tried reading step by step procedures of how to remove it online and I tried it. It didn't work out because I can't remove it so I got it removed by my brother. Good thing he knows how to.
