If you've got the part number, might try a Google internet search for availability and price comparison. Just be careful of "willfit" aftermarket pats in this case - that VSD can be a bit picky.

Go do a search on the Cooking forum and if you can't find the information you're looking for just ask that group for help. Many on the Cooking forum have the mixers you're asking about and are more than willing to answer your questions. Plus that site moves faster.

As far as our "new friend" goes, he's not trying to sell us anything yet. Part 2 is posted, and I think it's possible he (or she) is just giving us the benefit of knowledge about what goes on in China and elsewhere. I have a friend who's paid quite a bit for these "original" copies, and I bet she doesn't know they're sort of a paint-by-numbers. She'd probably appreciate the posting above. I am known to be naive, so I acknowledge maybe there will be a part 3 where we're given a sales pitch, but so far I don't see what Zhenwei stands to gain personally by the postings. So up to this time, I thank the poster for the information.

Agreed it's spam - the majority of cheap 'handpainted' oils are nothing more than reprints on canvas with some oil paint splashed on as highlights, originating in Chinese factories, of course - paint by numbers would be both more original and more 'handmade'. Amazon's site is full of them, and a lot of local fairs and festivals are, too; their prevalance has really hurt the market for local artists trying to sell a truly original, one of a kind handmade product at a living wage. And when you see these items, do you ever wonder what ultimately happened to the students of Tiannamen Square? (Sorry, this whole subject is one of my major 'soapbox' buttons..)
