| can any one tell me how to check oil in a 99 sunfire manual transmision.also how to change and how much and what kind of oil to use i do not have a manual info appreciated |

| The only way to check trans oil on manual is to check it through the drain plug. But if you get a service manual at like an auto parts store, it will give you all the specs for the type of oil and capacity. |

| Usually there's two plugs, a drain plug on the bottom and an inspection plug on the side. After warming the car and letting it sit for a while, you take out the inspection plug and check the level with your finger. Most people only have the gearbox oil replaced with the clutch. |
