As far as fertilizing, it's probably not a good idea to do much of it during the winter. I'd wait until they go outside in the spring, although I have used a very weak solution before. When I did this, I had my cuttings in the house and they were actively growing in very warm temps. Once they go outside (after last freeze and frost), I fertilize about every 2 weeks, but once a week fertilizing would probably give me more blooms. Fish emulsion is an excellent fertilizer for brugs. Normally I like to alternate between organic and chemical fertilizers. I'm not sure where you saw "blue powder", but they had to have been referring to Miracle Grow or Peters, etc. If you wanted to stay organic, I'd think the fish emulsion by itself would work just fine. We get the same high temps here as you do, but most of mine are in full sun. I have an un-known ID white in full shade and some others in partial shade. For me, more sun=more blooms, but you'd need to keep an eye on them and make sure they're getting enough water. It also depends on what brugs you're growing. What do you have? I like to "harden-off" my plants outside for a week or two in a shady spot before planting them out in the spring.

I noticed I needed to clarify this. Running thru the attached garage and out its end exterior wall would be the longest run Running to the soffitt on the back of the house would be shorter Running up to roof would be shortest.

I'm reading this with interest - I grew up in a household w/11 people (9 children, 2 parents, DH & I now have 7 children between us & 2 grandchildren - For some odd reason I am extermely sensitive to noise. We did an entire home renovation 2.5 yrs ago and I was adamant about noise buffering/lowering solutions to every application. Our home is plaster walls (which provide excellent sound deadening)& we lost the largest ceiling (LR) so I came up w/a soundproofing solution for the GC who applied the materials. If you live in a home built after 1950 or so - and it is sheetrock - noise travels quite readily through sheetrocked walls, moreso through the joists the sheetrock is applied to. PVC pipe which replaced that nice fat old black pipe which was thicker & quieter. If flooring is "floating" it is more likely to increase the noise in the house - A material used prior to flooring being installed is MLV (Mass loaded Vinyl) 1/8" thick comes in large roll like rolled flooring. I used that on the ceiling in my basement renovation, after applying mineral wool between the joists - then I applied an acoustical tile - I know it sounds overkill - but my dream is that will eventually be the home theatre. I'm shocked at the amt of $$$ people pour into systems, wiring, LCDS, audio without doing anything to improve the sound quality in the room. Sorry to ramble on - My point really is to please do your research before deciding on anything or you will be throwing good $ down the drain. What was your home like prior to the flooring? When was it built, how long have you lived there etc... I have always felt that if you are familiar with smart phones, etc. then the transition from W7 to W8/10 will be smooth. I have never had a smart phone and prefer not to have one. I like that my internet connection is at home and plan on keeping it that way. I find it very disturbing that MS is forcing this W10 upgrade on people. This is America! Shouldn't we have the freedom to make our own choices, and I do not like the idea of upgrading on an older system. I have seen first hand the problems that have arisen from upgrades. If it is not incompatible drivers, its something else. If I want a W10 I will go out and buy a new computer that has W10 factory installed with a warranty. I can not afford to lose my W7. I have several versions of OS's for a really good reason and need them as is. My son had an experience with his W8.1 that helped me to form my negative opinion concerning this free upgrade. Just before he shipped out for overseas he bought a W8.1 netbook for his wife since he took his W7 with, so they could Skype back and forth. She is familiar with her smart phone but not with Windows in general. During this time that my son was deployed is when the upgrade came out. My daughter in law had no idea what to do with this message that kept telling her to upgrade. Since she didn't know the difference between and update and an upgrade so when she asked my son if she should allow the update he said yes, so allowed the upgrade at the end of July (or was that August? I forget now.) Either way, the upgrade that he thought was an update went very badly and once complete the netbook would not boot into Windows and since he was in such a hurry to ship out he did not take the time to create the recovery media. To make an already long story short, I tried everything I could think of to fix this and ended up having to send it back to ASUS not even a week after the warranty ran out and have them reload the hard drive which cost him $210 USD's. He had paid almost $300 for it on base before he left so he ended up paying over $500 for this netbook. Very costly MS upgrade failure as far as I am concerned. I wish there were a way to make MS pay for the damage caused by this failed upgrade, but you know that would never happen and I have helped others online with the very same upgrade failure. Kind of makes me feel like my son and everybody else whose upgrade failed in this manner were used as lab rats. Out of curiosity, I would give anything to know the percentage of how many of these upgrades failed, for what reason the upgrades failed, how severe the failures were and how much the victim had to pay out of their pockets to fix the damage done.
