I'm a "red" person so I've grown many of the ones mentioned. Most of them are gone now because I didn't like their growth habits, or they didn't bloom enough, or they didn't like my climate or they just didn't do a thing for me. After all those my favorite has always been Chrysler Imperial and you can never go wrong with it. Such a nice mannerly growth habit, never too tall (around 5 feet), upward vase shaped bush with no awkward cane angles, better then average resistance to B.S. (but must be sprayed religiously for PM in spring), with the blooms in cool weather taking on the look of the plushest deep ruby red velvet. The blooms are produced in continous flushes until temperatures exceed 95. Her fragrance is legendary. There is only one rose that I've planted that matches Chrysler and improves upon it (in some ways) and that rose is Rouge Royale. Sturdier canes, longer vase life, better disease resistance (no PM or BS here but I spray. Not religiously mind you which is how I know about CI and PM). The minus on Rouge Royale is as patrick stated. The blooms don't last long on the bush, otherwise Rouge Royale would have replaced Chrysler as my favorite red rose.

Matt, I am sure a cool ultrasonic humidifier will work but I just wanted to avoid a big pipe, etc. just for a 20gal tank. It is in the living room and I dont want it to look industrial. Deadhamster, I have read many places about not fertilizing a terrarium because mainly the salts will build up, even if you are using a well chelated solution. Also the plants may start growing too fast for the terrarium. If my AV dont flower and my leaves look in need of fertilizer, then I may do it but I bet I will go a year?? Incidently I taped the perimeter of the terrarium top and the humidity is staying at 65-70% so maybe the problem with the Tropicaire is that the tank is not sealed enough. The heat rose to 87 deg so I raised the lighting fixture 2" above the glass lid. Will see what happens. Ivan

Ok guys, I am back. Had modem problems, had to have it replaced. First off I have not sent my box yet. Hubby gets paid today and it is going in the mail first thing in the morning, it is all ready to go just had to wait for money for postage and he only gets paid every 2 weeks. I have been in 2 different round robins where I didn't receive a box at all and I would never do that to someone else. I consider all of you my friends and while I may run slow at times I will get my box to you. Now second thing, I received the most wonderful box from my secret pal. We went to the mail house (my little girls name for the post office) and Kayla was absolutely delighted to see her name on the box with mine. We get home and get the box open to find, the most delightful smelling candle ( Strawberry shortcake), next we pull out passion fruit green tea (can't wait to try this), then doggie bones, so of course Kayla has to go right then and feed one to Lacey (our dog)who was thrilled since being an outside farm dog she doesn't get treats very often. Now finally we get to go back to the box, oohh a lovely bunch of christmas cactus (fuschia), I love these and I didn't have this color. Then Kayla spots something pink??? we pull it out and it is a beautiful set of bracelets for Kayla, it has 3 bracelets (pink, purple, and blue, her favorite colors) and letters that slide on the bracelet so you can make different words, So after a break to make her name on the pink bracelet we get to go look in the neverending box again. Ooooh a canna rhizome ("President") I love cannas and I didn't have this color either. Then I find another goodie, Hosta ("Antioch") another of my favorite plants and another I didn't have. Then last but certainly not least a lovely note tucked into the bottom of the box. i hope I didn't forget anything everything was so wonderful and I can't believe my secret pal knew me so well. This one box makes up for the other RR where I didn't get anything, THANK YOU SO MUCH SECRET PAL. Once again I promise my pals box will be in the mail in the morning and I have added a few extra goodies because of it being late. And I promise to do better next month. So I got a better bid today from a different dealer for the 126B 3 1/2 ton A/C. And the reason it was better is they measured the coil case and figured out they could put the new coil in the existing coil case (with a Bryant cover, not a Carrier cover) and save 3 1/2 hours of labor vs. removing the newly installed furnace. Does anyone see any problems with that? I kind of liked it as the furnace is working fine and I don't want it messed up. Also, the original dealer thinks we should get the 4 ton 126B since our old 3 1/2 ton A/C had trouble keeping up on hot days. Here is the AHRI #6364408. It is a generic listing, not for our furnace like the 3 1/2 ton is. Does that matter? They say they are confident it will work with my furnace, but does that impact the SEER, etc? I still have not heard anything re the new model that may be on the way, but the Bryant rep is at a training conference in Oregon so isn't as easy to get a hold of right now. I would appreciate any thoughts you guys have on these two proposals. Thanks, Cindy
